Thanks to GM and Chevrolet’s addition of an efficient gas-powered generator on board, the Volt doesn’t suffer from a limited number of miles such as Nissan’s Leaf, a vehicle that gives you an admittedly impressive 70 miles of electric driving... at which time a Leaf-owner is dead in the water.
